Heather Ducharme

Heather joined the Body Shop in 2016 as a Sustainable Sourcing Manager.
Heather has been working on sustainability for almost 20 years. She began her career in ecology research, site remediation and waste management projects in North America, before joining the Canadian government to coordinate multi-jurisdictional environmental assessments. In 2009, she moved to the UK to undertake postgraduate study at the London School of Economics and Political Science in environment and development. Prior to joining the Body Shop, she spent five years leading a multidisciplinary programme of work on tropical commodities and deforestation as a Senior Policy Officer with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, a UK based nature conservation NGO.
Heather is very excited to be working for The Body Shop, and looks forward to carrying forward the beautiful experiment of achieving social justice and environmental sustainability through cosmetic ingredient supply chains.
